Our Founder
Nadeem Qasir – 1949-2026
In loving memory of Bloomfield Hall School’s visionary Founder and Chairman, Nadeem Qasir.
Nadeem Qasir was not merely a businessman guided by numbers; he was an educationist par excellence—an academic, a thinker, and the author of more than sixty publications. His seminal book on Pakistan Studies, published by Oxford University Press, reflected his deep commitment to rigorous and progressive education. He championed a modern approach to learning—one that nurtured critical thinking, encouraged questioning, and empowered students to challenge ideas.
In 1994, he founded UCL (Universal College Lahore), one of Pakistan’s first institutions to offer University of London degree programmes locally, opening global academic pathways for countless students.
Over the course of forty years, Mr. Nadeem built an empire of schools and universities, shaping the landscape of Pakistan’s educational systems. He did this, not for prestige, but for purpose.
He was a quiet man, never boastful about his achievements, nor his charitable works. He uplifted countless lives, many of whom now walk paths of distinction.
As we ask what the world will look like without him, we find the answer all around us—in the lives he shaped, the values he instilled, and the legacy that will continue to guide generations.
